A foundation built for the public good
The Professor Parmanand Adhir Educational & Charitable Trust was established on 14 January 2014 at Hisar, Haryana, as an irrevocable public charitable trust. It was founded to channel private goodwill into lasting public benefit — carrying forward the name and values of Prof. Parmanand Adhir.
The Trust exists to serve society, not to earn profit. Its purposes, as set out in its founding deed, span the relief of the poor, education, health, social welfare, the advancement of technology, disaster prevention and relief, and rural upliftment — together with any other object of general public utility that serves the wider community.
Honouring Prof. Parmanand Adhir
The Trust bears the name of Prof. Parmanand Adhir — a life devoted to public service, education and the dignity of the common person. It was founded by his family so that his ideals would continue to take practical shape in the lives of students, patients and the poor.
Where he gave his voice to social justice and learning, the Trust gives its resources — building schools and scholarships, supporting healthcare, and standing with communities in their times of need.
